Written expression is the ability to write down information and ideas (using sentences, correct grammar and spelling) such that the intent of the author is clear and can be understood by others.

It means to write as if you were giving a verbal report. As if you were telling a story. Not just a dry list of facts. Expand on the information to make it more interesting. Make sure your sentences are complete and not just simple remarks. Use your imagination and creativity so that reading your essay is fun. Check grammar and spelling.
