I haven't worn any for over ten years. Contrary to what many people think, bare feet are not dangerous, unhealthy or gross; feet get very tough very quickly, our skin is made to keep pathogens out, and feet are fully washable. Nor do feet smell when they have been kept bare; 'foot odor' should really be called 'shoe odor' as it's produced by bacteria breaking down sweat in anaerobe circumstances (with lack of oxygen) rather than by the sweat itself. I wipe my feet when I arrive just like others would wipe their shoes, and if someone has a 'no outdoor dirt' rule (asking people to take their shoes off at the door) I'll be happy to wash my feet or use wet-wipes, but I never, ever wear any kind of shoe or sandal.

No. And it's not that I have stinky feet or anything like that. I just don't feel comfortable taking off my shoes at someone elses house. It's not a big thing, I will if they require 'no shoes' because of having white carpet or whatever but usually I just kick my shoes off when I come home to my house.

It all depends on where I am at. This past Thanksgiving, I was at a friend's home, and he lives in a home where you need to remove your shoes, and I had to take off my sneakers (was not wearing any socks in them) and go barefoot in the home.

All the time....
Yesterday while subbing a Freshman Math class I kicked my shoes off under the desk and flexed my tired feet.
Peace.
