Everybody does that because for some reason the things we should not be doing are the things that make you feel really good. Its a good thing you relize you do wrong because most dont, so now you can do what it takes to change that.

If you are doing them, then you must want to do them. Why else would you do anything at all? Almost everyone makes repeat mistakes, but there is a reason. You just have to figure it out. Wonder woman (the next poster) has some wise words for you.

Maybe because you are not being honest or you are trying to save someone else's feelings instead of thinking of yourself first? Or maybe it is because you just care so deeply for others either that or someone is making you do things you don't want to do.

because you don't understand the real purpose of doing the things that you're doing.
for example:
homework, even if you don't want to do, it's for your own goodness sake- to get into a good college
