No, I wouldn't. There were some endearing things about her (she DID have a few interests other than spending money, and charity was one of them), but on the whole, she was sadly unsuited for her position as queen.

Too bad she couldn't have just married a private person and lived that kind of life--she would likely have been much happier and not gone down in history as a queen who cared for nothing but pleasure.

Oh, by the way, she never made the most famous remark attributed to her: "Let them eat cake."

No. would not like being so out-of-touch and disliked. The wealth must have been nice, but the cost is to high.
