Eat sensibly, and not later than 8pm.
Take regular exercise. This really helps the body sleep better.
Turn off the television after a certain time. It doesn't help you at all. If you have one if your bedroom, get rid of it.
Stop playing computer games for a day or two, as these don't help either.
Try some yoga exercises with an experienced instructor. Stretching is marvellous for relaxing the body.
Ask an acupuncturist to show you the pressure points around your wrist that help you sleep.
Have a warm shower before bed.
Try using lavender or neroli essential oils. Put a drop on the corner of your pillow.
When you lie down (after your warm shower and with your lavender oil on your pillow), just concentrate on your breathing. Breathe in for one thousand, two thousand, three thousand; breathe out for the same.
Sweet dreams!

1.WARM milk becomes a mild sleep agent.
2.Masterbate to climax and your body will naturally relax, hopefully enough to sleep.
3.Listen to soothing sounds(on repeat). I like ocean waves
4. I use earplugs(making sure i don't push them in too deep), and an eye mask often
5. Watch the home shopping network
6. Go for a jog followed by a hot shower when you finish.
7. Read a novel until you get tired.
8. Turn off your phone so you don't get distracted
9. Low frequency lights
10. A body pillow if you don't have a gf/bf

Get yourself physically tired.
Make sure you are keeping warm-put another blanket on for a night, or wear warmer pajamas.
Make sure you use the restroom before you go to sleep.
Try sleeping alone. Perhaps your partner is waking you inadvertently.
This will sound stupid, but it may help someone. I used to have a wonderful dog who slept next to my bed. I discovered that resting my hand of her while trying to sleep seemed to give a serenity which put me to sleep. (Sorry about that)
Is there a noise like a chiming clock which might wake you?
I hope something helps you!

There is a sleep aid that projects a blue circle onto the ceiling, it goes bigger then smaller and relaxes you to sleep.
