Can the West and the UK PM tell me how many black African farmers own land in their countries?

I don't think that kind of information is available in the UK because the question could be regarded as racist.

There is no bar to black Africans (or any other colour, race or creed) owning land, farms or anything else here in the UK. And we don't throw people off their legally-owned land just because of the colour of their skin or their race

It's because Mugabe and his vicious friends have reduced their country to a starving dust bowl whilst blaming the West and sanctions. Black African farmers tend not to want to buy land in the UK, it's far too expensive, what's the point, the agriculture is completely different. London property and Swiss bank accounts are far more attractive to African gold.

Even if the West was using sanctions in a well governed nation they wouldn't work. They didn't even bring Saddam Hussein to his knees. If Mugabe is even 10% as good as Fidel Castro, his people would have endured and prospered.

No Mugabe is a demagogue who would waste the event staging a fake protest against Britain. Incidentally modern Britain hasn't the slightest interest in African politics having got shut of the whole mess years ago. The UK is doing really well economically and as enough issues in Europe and Asia without dealing with stuff in Africa. This paranoia from African politicians is just convenient rabble rousing, useful to provide cover while they rip and kill off their fellow countrymen, enrich their crony's and immediate tribesmen and sell their resources cheaply to the Chinese.

No, but they certainly can tell him to stop abusing his own people. Mugabe was too extreme in his seizure of white lands, but it needed to be done; you couldn't ever have an african country run by black people if the whites owned all the land. Yet he could have done it in a fairer way - not just "you're white, get out"

Mugabe is an incredibly foolish ruler - inflation in Zimbabwe is absolutely ridiculous, yet Mugabe is pretending it's not there, and is doing absolutely ALL the wrong things to curb it. There are no free elections, and Zimbabwe has basically gone from being one of Africa's success stories to a failed state all thanks to him. That's why we don't talk to him.
