Why do people pollute the water?

Why do most of the people pollute the environment even they know it may harm the eart?

Because it's cheaper for the people who pollute than cleaning it up.

Take a factory. They pretty much all use water, sometimes a lot of it, and make it dirty. It's cheaper for them to throw it away than to clean it. Let someone else worry about it.

Which is why most all governments have passed laws requiring factories and cities to clean their dirty water.

if you're outdoors, don't trust any water unless you're an expert or you have an expert with you. if you're indoors, generally tap water is clean o.O by sight, you can tell by the clarity of the water, where as fresh is clear and polluted is anything but clear. by taste, you shouldn't be able to taste anything specific if it's fresh water ;) by smell, fresh water doesn't have any smell while polluted does. by touch, fresh water feels clean while polluted water will likely leave a residue. by hearing, water is fairly dense where as polluted water will sound a little weird. XD

Because not enough people care. They know that it is harming the Earth, but their view on things is 'I'll be dead before anything bad happens'. But the truth is that bad things are happening now. We need to stop this before it's too late, and yes, scientists say there will be a point in time when we cannot go back to the way we were before if we do not stop the bad habits of the human race. And let us not forget, we are not the only species living on Earth. We are sharing it with others that were here before us. We need to stop thinking about ourselves and save planet Earth!

You pollute water now because you are useing a computer that uses power. You also pollute everytime you get in a car and ride. You also pollute whenever you have heat in your home. You also pollute everytime you go to the bathroom. Why do you pollute????

Actually nobody doesn't want to pollute water but due to LAZYNESS people often throw gargabes everywhere that travels into our bodies of water

deliberate polluters do so because of the high costs of safe disposal coupled with i think, ignorance of the true extent of damage they cause.

Because they have failed to find other ways to dispose of their toxic waste and they don't care enough about the environment to see that they're killing it.
