I am at my HOME, going through the closets, every nook/cranny -- sorting things into keep, donate or trash -- every room of the HOUSE ...
Because this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree became an Empty-Nester in the last year, and FINALLY -- I am FREE -- FREE to enjoy the HOME that I EARNED -- FREE to toss or give away what I do NOT Want in my HOME ... and ...
Yes, doing the Renovations (because we all know how destructive and difficult teenagers/young adult children are (while in the Parent's Home -- this Long Term Single Parent speaks from EXPERIENCE here!).
So ... for me, I am going through now the Master Bedroom -- pulling everything out, sorting things, and yes, pulling the Furniture away from the walls -- because the first step in the Master Bedroom is to patch the problem areas, and then PAINT the Walls/Ceiling -- but to get to that point, I have to have the furniture disassembled, and stacked against just one of the walls!
So ... today and tonight -- I am finishing the sort, putting things in the Storage Locker I rented, and yes, pulling the furniture away from the walls, scraping the Ceiling (removing that HORRIBLE Popcorn/Acoustic Ceiling Coating -- it just flakes off anyway) .. and then putting down drop cloths to do the sanding -- then PAINTING the walls/ceiling on Sunday! (at least 3 of the walls anyway!).
So as you can see -- just because one is RETIRED, doesn't mean that they do NOT have work to do -- it just changes focus!

Cool, i would but you probably live in another country! lol... I was suposed to be going out partying but everyone bailed on me and then i had a fight with my bf... so im sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, fun!
