in Monopoly - anytime you roll doubles - you move
and then get another turn

2nd double in a row on that turn - you move - and roll again

3rd double on that turn>>>>>>>- GO TO JAIL
Do NOT Pass Go
Do Not collect $200

oooops

A double roll means you move the total of the roll and you roll again.

If three doubles are thrown, you go to jail immediately, do not pass GO, do not collect $200 for passing GO.

Another answerer mentioned a "Kitty" where you put the money in when you pay fines and income tax etc., it is won by the person that lands on "Free Parking."

It is not an official rule but can be used if and when all players decide to do so.

As far as I know you move 4 spaces and then get to roll again. This is true for any doubles. But if you roll 3 doubles in a row you go directly to jail.

unless it is a "homemade rule" there are no rules regarding the type of doubles rolled- only rolling doubles of any kind allows you to roll again- rolling three doubles in a row is a penalty you go to jail for.
If you have lost your monopoly rules, here are the official Monopoly board game rules - you can reference these for any questions you might have as many people have adapted their own rules and variations for the game :

I don't believe it is written in the rules that come with the game, but when I used to play, anyone who rolled doubles automatically went to jail, and had to stay in jail until they either rolled doubles again, or paid $75 to get out. (that money went into a "kitty" that was won by the first player to land on "Free Space"
