We've been together for almost 4 years. He never talks to me and when I get him to talk to me he yells. He's always mad. He basically treats me like I'm nobody. I don't exist. Why does he do this?? He wasn't always like this. It started about a year and a half ago. I threated to leave him on Valentine's this year and he straightened up. He was perfect. Then he tried to quit smoking and he turned into an a$$hole again. He took smoking up again and his attitude has remained the same. Why?!

Oh girl, what are you doing with this man. You have to threaten to leave him to make him talk to you. And yet you don't leave. You've basically given him permission to treat you like a doormat!!!!
No more threats, girl. Now you act. Start packing your bags and making arrangements to dissolve the relationship. Time to move on. Do not stay with this man, he is a complete loser. He cannot love you, not really. The possibility that he might be shagging another woman is null and void - he can't love anyone, full stop. Get out while you still have your sanity and your sense of humour. And no matter how he begs, pleads and threatens, do not go back to him. You deserve better.

He may have an anxiety problem is the only impartial thing i can come up with. Maybe there are other problems, past things maybe. When it bugs him he may portray his frustration onto you. Is he a nice guy when drunk? If he is then it has nothing to do with you. Goodluck
