is there a height limit for commercial modeling, and things like that where you don't walk the runway? I'm 12, and I'm too short to be a runway model, but i'm still interested in modeling

There is a height requirement. Unfortunately the modeling agency usually looks for someone 5'9 and taller. I'm 5'8 and am not tall enough! But sometimes there are shorter models, like Kate Moss, she's 5'5. You never know, the fashion industry is changing these days, but at your height if you have great hands or small feet (size 6 B, I do believe) then you could do that kind of modeling. It's a special skill, so your face wouldn't be famous, but you would make money. And then there's always the Gap. Good luck. You'll grow more, you're only 12.

Of course you can model. Not runway - your right- but there are so many other kinds of modeling w/o height requirements. Shoe models, hair care, make-up, catalogs. You have lots of options if that is what you want to do. Go for it.

Well, it really depends.
My friend is about 5'2" and skinny
and she's in this modeling agency for teens
and they allow anyone. Any height and any size
and they want me to model for them. So maybe you have
a chance!

But then I got some other offerings which were a lot more
serious which is called Fashionista, and their
height limit is 5'6" and above.

Just make sure you ask the agency.
And I'm pretty sure you have to do runway
otherwise it wouldn't be called modeling.

G'luck!

No, there isnt. You just have to work harder to prove you have what it takes to be a model. You wont stand out as much as the taller girls, but if your good in all the other area's you can do it

typically women have to be 5foot9-10 . men 6foot-2
on a runway everyone has to be simiar hight for the overall effect. imagine : -----_----- ( the dip is the short person) it woudlnt work.

However you could be a print model, if your look is good enough
