The first day of your last period or the date you actually conceived? I tracked my ovulation so i know when we conceived and they are giving me two different due dates....

you count a pregnancy in weeks starting from the first day of your last period, not conception.
So its 40weeks from LMP.

It can be a little confusing considering the first two weeks or so you aren't really pregnant, but once you miss a period you are generally already considered 4weeks pregnant so only 36 to go!

Best of luck and congratulations. Your doctor will send you for an ultrasound at some stage to confirm your due date and gestation but your LMP is the most accurate one to go off. Ultrasound takes a reading from an average base so it is not necessarily correct. So just stick with your LMP due date and you be delivering in no time!

Enjoy being pregnant!

To calculate how far along you are just count from the 1st day of your last period. When you go for an ultrasound at 18-20 weeks they will give you an estimated due date. Congrats!

Congratulations!! It is caculated from the first day of your last period. At around 18-20 weeks they usually do a dating scan and that can give you more accurate information on when baby is actually due. Good luck with the pregnancy and have a lovely baby!

Count back three months from the month of your last period and add 7 days to the date of your last period.

So if my last period was November 5th, then my approximate due date would be August 12th.
