Hi Poppy, I have travelled around southeast asia fair bit and the number one place that i have travelled to is Japan.
The restaurents are generally very good, fresh food, can be expensive if you dont eat their local food ie. if you eat steak, it is very expensive.
The people are very friendly and extremely coutious, elderly people not very good speaking english.
Although Tokyo is very interesting, also travel country and see the many castles.
