One of the causes may be the drive axle for that wheel may be going bad, usually making a grinding or clicking sound when making a turn. Repairs are somewhere between two or three hundred dollars, depending on where the repairs are done.

With the symptoms you give, it is the power steering pump. The dead giveaway is when you say it does it when you turn really hard. Power steering pumps "grind" when they are about to fail, worn CV joints "click". Please have it checked and it is possible it may need a replacement. A power steering pump can be replaced easily if you know someone that has the proper special tool required to remove the pulley. You do have the option to purchase a remanufactured pump versus the price of a new one.

don't sell your car because i will lose money , your problem is the front axles , they are bad and 2 new with cost u around 500 and rebuilt somewhere around 300 plus install cost and that is around 4 hours and if u do that make sure u change the brake pads at the same time to save some money .

If it is a clicking sound, could be the CV joint. The CV joint is where the drive axle flexes to allow the car to turn. Quite a high failure item. Expect about $200 repair.

First possibility that comes to mind is CV axle joints. If so, it is actually cheaper to replace the whole axle than to replace just the joint. At my shop, an axle replacement goes for $175 including labor. There is a left & a right axle in your car. Have your mechanic (NOT the dealer!!!) check it out.
