My concern is I have never seen, any Eskimo, or Indian police officers. I am wanting to gain employment as a police officer in the furture; however I am not a caucasian female, I am only half. Do I still qualify, even if I am not full caucasian?

Someones race doesnt matter, at least definitely not to me.
And neither should their gender. If you can do the job and obviously want it, then you should go for it and I hope you do.

Your sex and nationality do not have anything to do with getting a job as a police officer. It should be based on your qualifications. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prevents discrimination in this repect. As for the reason fewer women and minorities are seen as police officers can be part of personal preference. A lessor percentage of women apply for law enforcement positions in part due to stereotypical expectations of male and female characteristics.

You don't have to be caucasian to be a police officer. If anything being a female and of a different ethnicity will only increase your chances of becoming one. Or getting hired as one. EQUAL OPPURTUNITY EMPLOYER...some company's need minority's. The one I work for does...that's why I got hired. I'm a female in security, surrounded by men. GO FOR IT!

The only thing that would make you unable to be a police officer in the US would be your history. If you had a criminal record, or if you cant pass the academy. Your race/sex does not matter, there are black/white/hispanic etc... officers.
