November is over!! So how did all you Nanoers do? How many of you won? I came in at just under 68k but I also had two pieces to do for the sports figure I ghostwrite for this month that added up to another 10K or so words. So it was about an 80K month for me. Never thought I wrote that much! It felt great, and I love the book I am doing for Nano... I expect to finish and start my second draft in January. How did everybody else do? Come forward and take a bow, winners! You earned it!!

Congrats winners. It was great, wasn't it? It was my first time and I just had a book I wanted to rough out so I figured I would try and see if I could do it. And I loved it! Can't wait until next year. I only got to one of the write-ins but it was fun to meet other writers. Our group is having a TGIO party. They are also having edit parties in December but I am just too busy with holidays. I will edit in January. I'm expecting it to eventually end up at 90K or thereabouts. And the best part is I love what I wrote! It is just how I envisioned it.

Are writers crazy? You bet we are! Why do you think we're writers?

Just about 73k (up from the high end of 58k last nanowrimo) from Nov. 1- Nov. 30th and thats with the 5 day trip to Vegas that allowed me to slack a bit...(Shhh don't tell my girl I took vacation time to write ;P)

Thats with it all coherent, no jibber-jabber, no useless filling.

I made it at 50,044. I got sick the week before and had 6,000 words to write on the 28th but somehow I made it. I like most of what I wrote and I am excited to start editing come January. I love my story and can't wait to develop it more.

50,008 words. I stopped after i hit it, and its wrapping up. I think that I'll go back and add a lot more plot points. I finished at 9pm Nov 30th. It was exhilerating. And exhausting.

Thanksgiving break saved me, I wrote about 15k that weekend.
