I keep having this problem were I compare every game I play to that of "Diablo2" and no game can compete with it because I have played it for 9+ years I have no idea what to do now because I am tiered of buying new cd keys everytime I get banned which is very often for some reason. So does anyone know of a game that is Online Rpg or MMORPG and similar to that of Diablo 2. Preferably does not cost money to play. I have no problem buying a disc but after that I would rather not pay monthly but I do accept all Ideas thanks.

I am sorry for not stating this sooner I have already played World of warcraft I know it was made by blizzard I had high hopes for it but I was very disappointed. The monthly fee on that game was not the problem it just felt like I went through alot of work to gain nothing.

well read your edit about WoW the game i agree kinda sucks at lower lvls i dont know far you played till but once you hit maybe lvl 20 or so and start running instances and getting gear its fun times and once you hit that lvl 70 mark the raids and pvp in that game is what imo make it the very best mmorpg out very interesting as far as the monthly fee 15 bucks a month breaks down to 50 cents a day find a arcade you can play for 12 hours (if you wanted too) for 50 cents :P

World of Warcraft borrows a lot of ideas from Diablo 2 (Same developer) although it does run the monthly fee.
The Talent Tree system in WoW is very similar to Diablo 2's Skill Trees.
The Rogue and Druid classes are similar to their D2 counterparts as well. (Unfortunetly the paladin isn't =/)
Give the 14 day trial a try. You may or may not like it.

i like Anarchy Online, dont know how it will stack up to the other game, you can have a froob acct where you can play for free but there are some limitations and you have to watch commercials which after like the 1st day blend in with the scenery. not sure where to download from as my bf did all that but you should be able to either google it or use ask,com to find the site,
