Money is only dirty paper--it doesn't mean a thing!! The true reason to marry is love--and love is between two mature adults with respect an d caring for each other. A loving relationship gets stronger everyday because BOTH people work at it--and they need to share communications, support, dignity, integrity, future plans, ---where does money come into this equation???

i think this is less of a problem than for the other side. ie: would a woman marry a man who makes less money? I would think that has more of a concern.

Yes... and I did and we were very happy. My second wife is just beginning to be successful as a professional artist.

I'm hoping that she makes tons of money. Why would I not want her to be successful? Marriage is not a competition.

I think women worry a lot more about making more money than their spouse. Men just say, bring it on.

Yes, it will be something that'd bother me in my mind for a while, but eventually, when you're in love it really doesn't matter.
