it's almost 9 years since he died. he made a major impact on wrestling in his own special way and now I have heard that his life story might be getting turned into a movie with (who else) Owen Wilson in the lead role I want to know what you remember most about him... for me personally it would have to be his matches with Bret and Mr Perfect

It's sad, but true, when you hear the name Owen Hart, the one particular thing that enters your mind is the way he died. I don't deny it was tragic, but it is the most memorable moment for Owen. But asides from that I'd have to go with getting the win over his older brother at WrestleMania X. 2 hours later, Bret won the title and the look on Owen's face was priceless. He pulled over the act quite well. As if to say "What! I just pinned your *** and you're the World Champion now? When do I get my recognition?"
Owen's whole feud with Bret is what got him out of "the shadows". Yet somehow, winning the KOTR the following year placed him back in the shadows.
I also remember seeing him win the tag titles with Yokozuna at WrestleMania XI, giving Tatanka his first clear-cut loss, and injuring Steve Austin's neck (In a way I'm glad he did, kissing Austin's *** would be degrading). If not for his death, I believe Owen just may have surpassed Bret's ring ability. That would have to be the best compliment anyone could give Owen.

I will always remember him as the stand up character that went out there every night after his brother left and out on the show he was supposed to. Sure, he could have sabotaged the product and forced Vince to release him, but instead he stuck with his character and worked like a professional.

Sadly, this will also remind me of what kind of person Vince is as he took advantage of this and was indirectly responsible for Owen's death. Vince knew that Owen did not want to do it and the creative staff could have probably come up with a better way for him to enter the ring, but Vince had to stick by his ideas and make Owen do the stunt, even wanting a less secure apparatus for him to use without the proper training.

i was watching the 6th royal rumble today. and there was a segment of scott hall knocking the snot out of owen, to upset Bret.
And i thought to myself here is a guy (owen) willing to work his way, even though he doesn't really have to (being he has the last name hart)

I think of the match where he beat bret at wrestlmaina and they traded sharpshooters two or three times

him taken credit for knocking out shawn michaels

and the match chris B and Bret H had to remember him by on nitro even he never worked for WCW

finally i remember hearing about his death while watching sportscenter in my 9th grade math class

I loved Owen and had seen him wrestle in person a few times. I think he was almost the opposite of Bret - the funny one, the one who could make a plain match a spectacular event not by skill (don't get me wrong, he was 2nd only to Bret) but by his "presence". I miss him a lot. Oh, and he LOVED his Slammy!!

i loved everyone of his matches because he was truly a remarkable talent....coming from the hart family just speaks for itself...he was an amazing performer and he put on great matches every day....but my most memorable memory of owen was winning the match against his own brother for the first time....that was an awesome match to witness....it was like bret telling him u deserve this...

in case you advise Chris Benoit, then Chris Benoit mind-blowing had the extra advantageous profession of that checklist, turn into an thought to many destiny wrestlers, former worldwide Champion, former IC Champ, Royal Rumble winner, turn into the guts and soul of WCW and WWE at one think approximately his profession, additionally, an particularly good wrestler of his time and, argubly, the main suitable Canadian wrestler of all time BQ1 - i don't likely look after PG, this is basically a score, it ability you are able to pass relaxing at situations and act in a extra intense way with a view to create a solid feud, Mysterio / Jericho, Punk / Hardy for examples BQ2 - Morrison by ability of ways he's getting pushed on Smackdown, Swagger's modern push is being a solid, first rate mid-carder on uncooked and is not doing plenty rather than feuding with MVP, a minimum of Morrison has been in great fits with Punk and Jeff Hardy in this previous 365 days, in spite of the fact that i do unlike him that plenty, he's first rate at what he does BQ3 - i could've had Jeff stay with a view to maintain Smackdown alive in the main nicely known adventure and better mid-card scene so he can get the extra youthful stars over, Lilian, everyone with solid mic skills can replace her, i'm hoping her new alternative is extra advantageous
