The Surgeon General of The United States has recently advised that Santa needs to cut down on salt and "lose weight".

Apparently a "jolly Santa" is detrimental to the health of American kids.

What's your opinion ?

Santa works very hard getting those presents out every year. He has to eat whatever the kids leave (usually cookies and milk) to keep his strength up.

He gives presents to all, and all he asks in return is that we are kind and good.

If he is a little overweight, who are we to decide that is bad?

He isn't drunk, he isn't on drugs, and he is a good decent human being.

I think Santa is the best example out there.

I am going to have to picket on this one. My sign will read.

"Leave Santa alone! What have YOU done for kids lately?!"

I'm sorry to Santa, we all have bean feeding him cookies and milk at night, now we should give him veggies and healthy stuff. Waite no that's the Easter bunny Santa will be better one he gets his daily dose of pie and ice creme. lol

Sigh, Santa needs to slim down, Cookie Monster needs to eat veggies, Batman and Robin had to bind their -- well, let's not go there. Sometimes we're just too worried, that's my opinion.

I don't think it was santa who caused children to be so overweight. That comes from health issues or from the parents.

Considering Santa has lived far longer than anyone on this earth, I think they should leave him alone.
