I was looking at those floating round beds or whatever you call them, & I was thinking about getting them someday. There is one problem though, I am not good at diameters. Which one would a 6th foot tall person like better: A 4, 7, or 8 diameter bed. Actually I have forgotten so would a 5 diameter bed be 5 feet across all ways? I'm not a hundred percent sure.

Diameter is the distance across a circle in the middle. For a 6 foot person the 8 diameter would probably be best to give you a couple of extra inches. Even bigger would be better unless you like hanging over the edge.

7 or 8 foot to avoid overhang if you have a 6 ft man laying on it.
a diameter for a circle is a straight line going the greatest distance across the circle
if you lay just 1 foot off center you have reduced the supporting bed surface
best bet is to take a tape measure and lay out a square 7 ft by 7 ft or 8 ft by 8 ft. your circular bed will fit inside this.
determine the center point and with a string of half the diameter, this is called the radius, swing an arc all the way around the center point to see what it would really look like.
lay on the floor in the circle and get an idea where the edges are. this will help you determine if this kind of bed really appeals to you.

You haven't said whether you are a couple or not. If you are, then neither of you will be lieing in the center of the bed, each of you will be off to one side of center where the length of the bed from head to foot will be shorter. In that case, I wonder if even the 8 foot diameter bed is big enough. The best thing to do is to go to the store as a couple, if that is what you are, and try out the bed in various sizes to see if it is the right size.
