I changed 25% of my water 2 days ago. I treated my tap water and filtered it, but maybe that wasn't enough? Is there something I can add now?

Possibly the most important question is: why do you feel the need to acidify your water in the first place? Unless you have some pH that is ridiculously high (over 8.0) and you have South American or Asian fish or live plants, you really don't need to try messing around with it. If you still feel the need to alter it, try adding peat fiber or granules to your filtration, adding driftwood, topping off your tank with reverse osmosis water (after water changes), or adding live plants. Also, you will want to remove any buffers that would encourage hard water like crushed coral, limestone, marble, any rocks that are lime based, or "special" sand. All these buffering items will make lowering your pH more difficult. Contact me if you have any questions.

EDIT: Calcium is one of the elements that constitutes hardness in water. By adding calcium, you raise the buffer, which directly RAISES your pH instead of lowering it...

I don`t understand approximately tank comfortable yet while your tank is basically too alkaline that's via fact there is too plenty chlorine on your faucet water. you may neutralize this with a vulnerable acid. I`m thinking Vinnegar. I don`t have self assurance that should kill the fish notwithstanding it would neutralize the Chlorine.

Do water changes with deionized water. Another way is to add calcium, adding calcium indirectly lowers the alkalinity.

Do water changes, not with tap water though. Spring water or RO/DI water.
