Great question. I wish you didn't have to ask it.
YES, feeling good IS a state of mind.
They go hand in hand. Analogy: When you feel like a million bucks you automatically act like a million bucks, Same is true when you feel worthless. When you feel like you suck, your performance is altered.
Basic answer is YES.
Additionally, keep it cool, think good thoughts, all is good!!!!

You can feel good if you want to. If you look for a person, place, or thing to do it, you may wait a long, long time. Throw away the thoughts and events that poison you mind, and spirit. Find that positive mindset that you know you've experienced, and use it. Let yourself enjoy each day as it comes. As you interact using positive energy, you will feel good!

It is.Your state of mind, your bidy language, your facial expressions all show what is in store for someone. It's simple enough, you can try it upon your kids.Stick a wry mood upon your face and the kids will not be anywhere near you.Charm them with a smile and they are all yours. That feeling brings you good luck too.Sit before a Roullette table and you're sure enough to win a couple of rounds.

Because I suffer from depression, I was gonna say YES, but now I'm second guessing myself because that would mean that so is depression and that I can control it...Dang, you got me on this one...I'm giving your question a star.
