If someone were to bring a baby (who had been abandoned) from Mexico and give it to us could we keep it? What kind of paperwork would we have to have? The baby would probably die if it wasn't given to someone.

There are many charities and adoption agencies in Mexico that care for abandoned children.

If the child is taken from Mexico to the US without proper legal authorities, you're committing crimes in both Mexico and the US. The child will end up being returned to Mexico, and you'll likely end up in jail.

You must adopt it legally.
