I could say that I disagree with the cool tub answer. Cool baths are pointless and particular very uncomfortable for the newborn. do you prefer to take a funky tub once you have chills from a fever. in case your infant has a severe sufficient fever it desires to be delivered down that rapid they could in all likelihood be interior the scientific institution. in any different case I accept as true with the different solutions infant tylenol is stable, yet in toddlers over 6 Mo and a definite weight they are in a position to have ibuprofen, which lasts a pair hours longer than tylenol. and finally, a severe temperature isn't a fever until that's one hundred.4 and dosen't prefer scientific care.

Children love to be read to. Read him some books if you have some. If not, get on the floor and play with him, make silly faces, tickle him, play Where's (Baby's Name) by putting a blanket in front of his face and take it away and say There He Is! It doesn't take much to entertain a baby, just use your imagination.

Is your baby always cranky or just certain times a day? You just have to be patient I guess and try to develop a routine. Maybe the baby is bored and needs a change of scenery. Go to the park or if it is cold go to the mall play area.

Have you tried gripe water? The stuff is great. You can just put it into a bottle or juice. It is all natural ingredients, so it is safe for baby. It can help with gas or collic, or whatever is making baby cranky. I found mine at babies r us, it is great! And be patient as possible, good luck!

Just take care of the baby as that is the most important person in your life.

With love, compassion, care...make him or her as comfortable as he/she can be...unfortunately my parents weren't there for me when I was a baby and my grandpa told me stories about how I would cry all night, and he would rock me on his lap for hours on end...he even kept his pants that was all worn out on his right thigh area and showed it to me when I was 12, and I felt a huge amount of love from him :)

Play more with it. Play nice games, give it warm and sweet milk, and for some babies it helps to ask their sisters or brothers to 'attack' and shock and tickle them.

Hold her, rock her, sing to her, nurse her.
