is the xbox 360 worth buying???
does it play regular xbox games
i might get mostly for halo 3, rock band, and a few other games.. suggestions?

The xbox 360 is only backwards compatible for certain games and im not 100% sure of all of them, but obviously Halo, Halo2.
The newest version of the 360s have many of the problems and bugs fixed from the earlier versions. Not to mention you can watch DVDs as well as voice chat, video chat and even chat via MSN with your friends on the 360.

I have a 360 as well as Halo 3 and I would say it is worth it. The 360 is a pretty solid platform with many useful improvements from the Xbox. It does play some Xbox games but if you are planning on playing sports games like Madden, NCAA Football, etc. I'm pretty sure that they won't work. But overall the 360 is a great buy.

Yes a 360 is worth buying.
The 360 plays certain old xbox games for ex. Halo 2.
You want quality, get the 360.

i own an elite 360 they are worth buying
I have owned a ps3 and a wii and i sold them in less than a month..
a 360 will play the old xbox games
Halo 3 and Rock Band are great games
Also try Guitar Hero 3, Call of duty 4, assassins creed, forza motor sport 2

Yes it is, i think xbox 360 has some auesome games eppecially halo 3 on live. I think you should definitely buy it.

there is not any difference between the Elite and Arcade variations of the Xbox 360 aside from the colour. So it would be greater fee-effective to easily purchase the 120GB not elementary force and stick that on there. until you prefer the black console, then decide for it yet thats somewhat some funds.

Even though I'd rather stick to PS because of Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. If both were made available for XBOX 360 I'd get it in some far future when I'm rich enough to get it!

Yes X-Box 360 is worth buying. You can play games from the previous successor and there is still X-Box live.
Now you can play it with HD-TV and it is better compared to PS3 because the games are a little cheaper and plus better games too.
