I just got home with an extra bag of groceries.
I have no idea how this happened but I'm the proud owner of a bottle of Juice, a mozarella cheese, 2 plastic erasers, and a bag of marshmallows that I never bought or paid for.
am I a thief?

Plastic Erasers: I haven't opened the pack yet, but they look like normal erasers for school children

No, i've actually left groceries when the stores use those carosel-ly thinggys to package them, so now I swirl them all the way around to make sure. At least it wasn't 17 filet mignons and a bottle of bubbly!

LOL...i have done that before! I frequently walk out of a shop with clothes etc hanging off the pram. Things i intended to buy but got distracted and forgot about them. But i ALWAYS go back and pay, otherwise it is stealing. It easily happens but it is what you do after wards that determines whether you are a thief or not....

Take them back to the store.A bagger just confused the order with another. You are not a thief but it's wrong to keep them.

mmm
no it isn't your fault if the guy left his groceries unattented, but maybe he ended up with a bag of your own groceries....are you sure you got everything you bought safely home?

BTW what are plastic erasers?

EDIT:
oh ok...can I have those...we're out of erasers and I needed to buy some...but now that you have them and if you don't need them, can I get them?
(send them with Aussie when he comes to Leb)

no if you had no knowledge of this bag then how is it your fault? If you feel guilty, then take it back.. i mean honestly..who doesn't love free erasers and marshmellows!!
