Well, my opinion I would just stick to the breast. Only because they recommend giving them regular milk around a year old, and thats when most people start weaning off the bottle. Actually what I would do, especially since hes on solids, go ahead and keep pumping, and start with the sippy cup. Continue to breastfeed liek your doing, and put alittle in a sippy cup, to get him used to it, and gradually add alittle more. I mean to start him now on bottles, would be kind of a waste, when at a year old most babies drink from a sippy cup. My son is 5 1/2 months and I just started with the sippy cup. It takes most babies awhile before they can master the sippy cup, so I would start trying with that now instead of the bottles. It will take time, but by the time he gets used to it, he will beable to drink regular milk. Also once he finally ot used to the bottles, then you would have to wean him off those to the sippy cup. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!!

Around 9 months is a great age to move on to a cup. There are many available and it may take a bit of experimenting to find the one he prefers. Around this age babies develop quickly and the need for milk from the breast is not as necessary as they get all the nutrients they need from solids.
I would try water in a toddler/sippy cup as an alternative to milk. He may be so used to milk coming from a breast that he might refuse it from any other receptacle. But above all else don't stress about this as he will quickly pick up on your feelings and may transfer them as negative feeling over this new stage or transition. And you still have plenty of time 9 months is still not too old to breastfeed. I hope this helps take care amd keep up the fantastic work

do you give him this bottle of formula? If so why dont you try and have your hubby give it to your son and you leave the room or leave the house, They can smell you, they can smell their milk, if they can smell it and they are offered something they dont want, why not go for what the like. If you are giving to your son, try and add a few layers of clother or a thick blanket over your breasts, so baby cant smell you, it took my son a while till he would drink from a bottle but if you just dont offer any breast milk to him then he will eventually dirnk the formula. Maybe he doesnt like it try a different brand. Try not to offer breast to him. Its never too late!my son wasnt off breast milk till he was like 11 months old, just cus it was convient for me and of course free. I know how your feeling i couldnt wait to stop breast feeding. Just stick with it, dont let him get you.

I'd try either a sippy cup or a regular cup. At this point, weaning him to a bottle just makes it so you have to wean him off the bottle soon.

Put the breast milk into a cup. He sees you drink from cups, he knows what they are for. You'll have to hold it for him, but let him sip from it. It'll be messy at first, but he'll learn.

skip the bottle and try a sippy cup. He may like the sensation of something new, and accept the milk that way.

I'd skip the bottle and just keep nursing him. Are you trying to wean him? It sounds like he's not ready.
