I turn on the hot water, then the cold water.. The hot water knob is closer to reach from outside of the shower.

HoT!! i love me some HOT showers! So I always turn on the hot water, then adjust the cold water to just how HOT i want my shower!

Cold then gradually add hot. I like the feel of the jolting cold and then the smoothing feel of adding hot water until it is perfect.

i turn on the hot water first, i used to wait for it to get hot then add cold, but now i turn the cold on right away. i dont know why it changed, but it did....
