Are Italians considered Meditteranean or Eastern European?

Just a question. Like Northern Europeans are sometimes called Nordic or Aryan, what's a term for Italians besides Caucasian/European?

Are they considered Medittereanean, Southern European or Eastern European?

Medditerranian, and there is no such thing as aryan, nordic or scandinavian are the PC terms, some famous author lady invented the Aryan race and Hitler purported it

Well to non Italians Medittaranean, but to people who are Northern Italians consider themselves European..the thing is, Italy really isn't a united nation, every city saves themselves, and only themselves...

this is a very stupid question, because we italians are an ethnic mix of various populations settled down in italy, along thousands years of our history, from all part of ancient world (north europe, germany, france, spain, greece, middle east, africa, east europe, asia, etc)
