It's been 4 days since my period, so I kind of wonder if it's just some left over blood. However, we just had sex last night (VERY UNUSUAL FOR US TO DO IT 2X IN A ROW, BTW) so I was a little sore. I am hoping it's nothing, but of course I googled it, and now I'm freaked that there's all sorts of things wrong with me.

Anyone experience this before?

Sorry-to answer some questions--
I'm married, and we're trying to get pregnant.

Oh, and it's pink blood, so I guess it's probably not leftovers.

No blood last night afterwards.

I think it could definitely be some soreness from having sex two times back to back. I say keep an eye on it. If it's just a light pinkish blood, then most likely it's from sex. However, if it continues for a few days or is more than just a little pink, then it could be left over from your period. Either way, I say keep an eye on it and if it goes on for too long or if you feel any discomfort, I would suggest going to the doctor.

Yes I have. Sometimes in the heat of the moment you can get a little rough. Also, you might have an infection ( not nessisarily anything serious). Call your docs. office, ask to talk to a nurse, and tell her you didn't know if you should be concerned. Also you might already be pregnant. There are so many things that are nothing to worry about that could cause this. Don't worry till you have something to worry about.

Bleeding during or after sex is not considered normal and therefore should be evaluated at all times. Some causes of vaginal bleeding after sex, such as vaginal dryness after menopause or in some cases by the use of certain types of birth control pills are not serious and may be easily treated.

However, in some cases, vaginal bleeding after sex can be a sign of a serious underlying problem, including:

* Inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis).
* Sexually transmitted diseases, such as chlamydia or gonorrhea.
* Cervical polyps.
* Cervical ectropion, a condition in which the cervical tissue is more susceptible to abrasion.
* Endometriosis or ovarian cysts.
* Pelvic inflammatory disease.
* Uterine fibroids.
* Cancer of the cervix, uterus or vagina.

If you continue to experience bleeding during or after sex, I would recommend that you consult with your doctor/gynaecologist to see what they think could be causing this.

Good luck :)

If it's pinkish blood, it's probably nothing to worry about. The time to be concerned is if you bleed a lot after having sex. That could be a sign of cervical cancer.

Was the blood red or brownish red? Brownish red would be left over menstrual blood. I am a guy, but I know about these things (4 daughters)

I've also experienced this when having sex not long after I'm done with my cycle. I don't know if the activity irritates the cessation of the cycle or what, but it's pretty normal for me.
