I had sex while on my period, and I was due to end the day after or the next day. Is there a better chance I could get pregnant at that timeframe, or a lesser chance? (BTW, we are trying to have a child)

you can get pregnant at anytime....I got pregnant a couple days before I was "suppose" to start my period.

Yes, if you ovulated at the end of the cycle rather than in the middle, you can still get pregnant. My 3rd child resulted from sex about 3 days before my period was due. Even blood tests were saying I wasn't pregnant! EPTs started showing up positive about 10 days after I missed my period.

More than likely not. Your most furtile time is usually 5-7 days after your period. Get yourself one of those ovulation test kits and use it after your off your period

It's not likely that you could conceive at that time.
But it has happened, ask enough pediatricians and they will tell you.
So you should never be surprised if your pregnancy begins at the most unexpected of times.
