According to Bruce Lee´s white american widow Linda Lee Caldwell: she was very upset at that time, when her late husband never got his TV role, what he´d actualy wrote in the Filmscript "Kungfu".

David Carradine took over finally the Bruce´s role for that TV serie. In Fact David Carradine couldn´t fight and was clueless
about Karate fighting.

it was a huge depression for me either, if Bruce would have played in that role, he might have been very legendary.

were the Hollywood producers rather a racist, dumb & stupid either? they should have actually recognized the real talent, not the skin color.

"...they SHOULD have...." In an industry where superficiality and greed are "king" being a conscious human is not at all the "norm".

While, undoubtedly, being blind to skin color, etc., is the ideal, many "normal" humans tend toward being somewhat racist, do they not? Perhaps, even more so, when profits are at stake. That's part of the sad situation here on Earth, at this time.

No. Not quite. One needs to know what real talent is. That is the elusive detail.
