The odometer, gas gauge, speedometer, gear, rpm gauge, and engine thermostat on my '98 Dodge Caravan have suddenly ceased to function, they light up (except the odometer and gear) but don't do anything. Have I blown a fuse or is this something worse?

Before you try anything else, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect it and try it.

Are you sure you're not sitting in the back seat? But seriously, there is a regulater just for your gauges under the dash. I had this problem on a 76 Ford Econoline I had years ago.

it's a gas guzzler, time for the scrap heap. get a prius.
