Yes does, if you are poor, disagree with a popular view point, or are differant than the norm you become a second class citizen. The great thing about america though is that you can break through the barriers and make something of your life.

NO America does not make second class citizens. The only one who make a second class citizen is that one who make him/herself one. Even the poorest of the poor can consider themself as fa first class citizen regardless of what others may call them.

Any American has the opportunity to better themselves and improve their own life. I have seen people raised in poverty with the most serious of disabilities overcome obstacles and live a life any of us would be proud of. On the other hand people can ignore their responsibilities to get involved in their community and government and enroll themselves into the second class category.

All countries make "second-cass citizens." The United States isless guilty of this than most other nations. Butmany people (legal immigrants, blacks, people with disabilities) are still relegated to marginal positions in society--regardless of rhetoric to the contrary.

Americans have never seen a 'class system' until they've lived in the UK. Even Brits know that. Their history is full of the class system and I guess it takes a while to fade away.
So no, there's no way you could compare us to that kind of a system.

America is far from being a classless society. There are some which are better and many many which are worse in that regard.
