mainly local artists pottery and paintings,all good stuff many from arts/crafts fairs.

Yes. I have a few (too few) pieces of Venetian Murano Art Glass ( since these were left to me by my mother - do they count? I did request them. Over and over and over and over!lol.) a small crystal collection. and some rough semi-precious gemstones I consider to be an extremely tiny sample of God's enormous collection.
Since art is subjective - while I suppose most people wouldn't think much of my few but treasured pieces - I enjoy them so very much. So - to me - they are indeed art and quite special at that! lol!

Just today I bought two pieces.
1. An art nouveau piece by Alphonse Mucha called "Princess Hyacinth"
2. "The Guardian Angel" by Elvira Amrhein
Most of the other art in my house was done by my son though. He's REALLY talented... (disturbed...but talented - lol)

Yes.....on a recent trip to Hoover Dam.....stopped by the old part of Las Vegas & a guy was doing paintings with spray cans of paint.....very amazing yet beautiful pictures.
