if her gpa goes under 1.0

If her grade point average (GPA) is below a 2.0 (C), she will be put on academic probation, which basically means that she'll be in trouble and won't be able to register for more than 12 credit hours the next semester.

If it isn't possible (or realistic) for her to get her to get her GPA up to a 2.0 by the end of the next semester, she will be placed on academic suspension, which will mean that she won't be able to return to the college the next semester and will have to wait until the semester after that to register for another class. Upon returning she will be on academic probation.

It's likely too late in the semester for her to drop any or all of her courses. It's always better to drop a course than to get an F in it. In the very unlikely event that it isn't too late, she needs to drop her classes.

With most American colleges she will be but on academic suspension. Then the school will give her one more semester to bring her grades up. But if this is her first semester and she is actually failing all her classes then she probably doesn't want to be at school anyway, for whatever reason.

Most universities have a 2 semester policy. If after 2 semesters you don't have gpa above a 2.0 out you go.

At the university I attended, after one semester if grades dropped below 2.0 (C-) then a student was placed on academic probation for one semester. If GPA was not brought up to or above 2.0, then that student would be placed on academic suspension for one year. After one year, if this student wanted to return to university, they would be allowed to.

Probably not...-but that's not to say her Parents won't pull her out of school when they find out "where" their money's going! Most schools wait TWO Semesters to see if Students should be dropped for failing grades...

that depends on your school. Probably not though, most places have academic probation where you get a semester or a year to prove that you can handle being there.

It's very possible, some colleges/universities will put you one more chance, and give you accademic probation. But she will have to walk th eline next semester, if she wants to stay in.
