Why is this in the IRL answers? I do not know. But, at least some of the nascar fans jumped over to answer, instead of making some smart**s remarks on how stupid the IRL is. Now to answer the actual question; maybe Hall of Fame racing can test him when he retires from the NFL. Who knows what might happen. Jeff Ward did win an IRL race after being a motorcross champion.

Only if his team owner figured out a way to cheat...

Seriously, race car drivers have some of the same qualities as quarterbacks: Great vision, both peripheral and distance. Superior reflexes. Endurance. Upper body strength. The ability to visualize surrounding elements and recognize avenues and routes. That said, a LOT of athletes have these qualities, and to my knowledge very few pros from one sport have jumped over to auto racing. At the elite levels (which include F1, IRL, and NASCAR) even being a 99th percentile driver is not enough.

too preppy to race.... yeah, thats what they thought about jeff gordon and look where hes at now. im sure with enough seat time (like a few years) he could be a racer but the guys in nascar have been driving race cars for most of their lives while brady has been throwing a football around most of his life. hes doing a good job in football i wouldnt switch sports at this time.

Not in NASCAR, he isn't hick enough. I'm sure he could drive an IRL car. They're pretty easy to drive...full throttle, and make nothing but left hand turns with an occasional right turns.

No. But, I'd watch him do a Nascar exhibition race against somebody.

Why did u put this in the IRL section??? No! if he were driving an IndyCar, he would probably only be able to get it up to 160, and have horrible line!!!!

If he uses the same precision that has made him a successful quarterback, he can do about anything.
