with the night
of glorious days
once been
it has come to pass
and the dying light
becomes a burden
trying to rekindle
but hope runs dry
dreams
of tomorrow's yesterday
lost in space and time
moving on
blinded and
scars wounded...
so how do i leave
the vivid encumbrance
from the days
of the last twilight
to go on
with the vague promises
of tomorrow's sunrise?

Only a very few things are certain in this life and one of them occurs in about 5-6 hours (central time).
I may not look forward to the issues of the day but the sunrise.....is new and different, every one, and that is what I count on my friend, one simple beauty that I can depend on at the beginning of the day and then- the glorious setting-light fading into darkness.
We are never prepared- yet we know the exact time of each occurrence daily.
