Not quite sure how to answer that. On the surface, It appears that I have stopped trying. He moved away, is probably married. I would like to say its better this way and that people end up with the ones we should be with but thats cr@p. We CHOOSE to be in relationships with whom we want for whatever reason.
I have heard it said that you marry the first time for love and the second for money or benefits. That's ********! I will marry a man that I love who will work WITH me instead of AGAINST me this time. Period. If I FINALLY find a man who is willing to work with me instead of against me, loves my children and can grow to love me if he doesn't already, then all the dateless weekends, sleepless nights, heartaches, lonliness, working my A$$ of to barely get by with NO extras will be worth it.
So when do you stop trying? NEVER.
Because the NEXT one maybe YOUR one.

When your mind and heart show you the dead end. Even if it is far away, you must stop trying , on time.
It saves time, energy and pain.
