Why don't republicans care about anything expect themselves? It seems that all repubilcans come from sheltered homes where the parents were scared of the outside world, and didn't want the children too expericance the truth about the way things realy are. I can't understand how republicans can't want to help the person living in a cardboard box on the side of the road, but they can spend 50,000 on a Hummer and think it's ok. Why don't you support health care for all people in the USA? Don't you think that will help this country? Or what about Abortion? I say " kill the bastard" Why? Do we really need another child in a foster home? We all know that people are going to abpoted him/her. They go overseas nowadays. Do you really support a war that is going to cost a trillion dollars? For what? Iraq freedom? End the war, bring the troops home and protect the border....send the mexicans home if you really want to help the crime rate in this country.

I think that you are lumping all the people in one basket.
I am a republican. I was raised in a single parent home and experienced the outside world. My mother taught us to be kind and giving to people and to respect others. I have tried to help the people that I can. You must remember to be careful about who you help as there are some dangerous people in this world.
My mother worked very hard all of her life to provide for my sisters and myself. She didn't have the money for an expensive car.
As far as abortion, that to me is a very personal matter that each person must decide what is best for them at the time. I realize that not everyone is for abortion - but please don't judge a person till you are in their shoes.
Do I support Bush and the war ? No - I think that we need to bring all of our troops home and stop. The people in Iraq really don't seem to appreciate us for the most part and there is alot of suffering on both sides.
As far as the Mexicans - we are trying to send them home. Mexico needs to help their own people!!!!!!!! They are only in school until the 8th grade and then they come over here to complete their education. The mexican government needs to be there for their people and help them with a better education, more jobs that pay better, better medical facilities and better hospitals. Mexico wants to keep their people poor and uneducated!!!!! SHAME ON MEXICO FOR THEIR INHUMANE TREATMENT OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE!!!!
In one border town I lived in, there were so many kids from the across the border that there were not enough books to pass out so that the students could take a book home to do their homework.
I live very close to the border and see things all the time!!!!

Republicans want a better world for all.

Most Republicans came from healthy, two parent homes.

The person living in the cardboard box is there because of his own poor choices.

And giving him cash doesn't help, and if you earn the money through hard work, you're entitled to buy a Hummer.

Socialized medicine will reduce the quality of health care for all Americans. It's worth what you pay for it.

Lucky somebody didn't say "kill the bastard" to your mother when she was pregnant with you, aren't you?

The War in Iraq has helped prevent another 9/11, while liberating 25 million people from an evil dictator.

Vote for Rudy!

How would you feel if someone said "kill the dumb...." referring to you.. yeah seems a little more important now that its talking about you, huh? And all i have to say about the war in iraq, wouldnt you be happy if another country was trying to help us get out of a corrupt government. And if the war wasnt there...it could come here.

As a Republican who grew up far below the poverty line and worked his way to having a decent job, I pity you.

While it does need reform, socialized medicine isn't as simple as your Lord and saviour Michael Moore made you think.

Let's kill the bastard children; how can you call Republicans devils?

Please tell me what would happen if all the troops just got up and left Iraq? You don't think that would bite us in the but 10 to 20 years down the line?

hmm.. as a democrat myself, you sound uneducated about what is really going on. Yes many things that Republicans do are outrageous, and even comical at times. But I don't think you really understand why democrats stand for these things. Abortion shouldn't be abused and executed because you just don't want to have a baby. Abortion and stem cell research is something we need, but can't be abused. Your perspective seems to be twisted.

And just what have YOU done to help the person in the cardboard box on the side of the road?

I pity you. You are thrashing around in a roadside mud wallow of envy, distrust, and hate.

Years from now while everyone, both Democrats and Republicans, have progressed miles down the road of life, you will still be in that same mud wallow on the side of the road.

EVERYTHING YOU SAID had to do with what someone else did, or didn't do, to suit your "gimme, gimme, gimme" attitude, and nothing about what you were doing for yourself. That's why you are stuck in the proverbial mud wallow on the side of the road

That is the basic, fundamental, flaw in liberalism. It says, "don't worry, you don't have to take care of it youself.... we'll do it for you."

Sheltered..I don't think I am sheltered..I've been around the block and and been on both sides of the wall when it comes to poverty..and from my experience those who are willing to take and not give do not deserve anything for free.

Politics is like Chess. Republicans are the Grand Masters.

They're the people who look into the future and consider the long term implications of their decisions.

Democrats look at the issues and see short term "free healthcare for everyone". Republicans look at the issues and see "Citizen Number 450027309 come this way. Don't worry, the government knows what's best for you..."
