I would just say something like " We must stop meeting like this, people will talk!" Unless I was in their house and being caught for like the 100th time and then I would say something like "The alzhimers is real bad today, I keep thinking this is my house."

I can't ever remember experiencing a strong need to stalk anyone. I have too much respect for individual privacy to do something like that.

I don't stalk, and I never would. But if I ever did I would tell them no and say it was a coincidence. I would NEVER want to be called a stalker!
