Do you really care what iran thinks? At least we are trying to achieve peace in the Middle east. The only way Iran thinks that will happen is with a mushroom cloud over Israel.

There's nothing belated about it.. he's been pushing doomed peace plans since he took office. Just like every president has for 60 years.

And Iran will certainly work hard to prevent any move towards peace, that much we can be certain of.

As long as Hamas and Iran oppose anything the US does in the Middle East, of course they'll say nothing will happen.

Thing is, even if nothing major comes out of this, it's the thought that counts, really. It's a showcase of which countries would prefer to fight or negotiate, however long and tedious the negotiations might be. Generally, those countries wishing to continue fighting will be looked down upon, and things will go worse for them.

Yea, because Iran has it's own plans to start sh*t with the US and Israel. They want nothing to do with peace talks. They want to erradicate us and Israel.

Who cares what Iran thinks. The peace plan must be pushed. The world knows it's the only hope to mid-east peace. There are many brokers in this, not just the U.S.
