Not at all, I just do this when I'm bored for an hour or two then stop and do something else.
I have a very boring job, so I need to find things that entertain me. Yahoo!Answers does that nicely, when I'm not reading something, or writing.

Yes it has. Since I magically found Yahoo Q and A's I have found I have learned about things I knew nothing about. Like you see a question on biology and you think I will look that up on Google and just paste in an answer and voila Best Answer!!! Wow that is good for your confidence. Also I found out a bit about early humans and neanderthals and that
French Canadians have on their numberplates about "remembering". I even learned what a Twinkie was (I don't live in America). The most interesting thing I have noticed is all the words, words, and more words from the Christians (Fundamentalists) out there who don't believe in Science (well it seems that way??) as against the Athiests who love to stir them up. Yes that is the best part of Q and A.

I wouldn't say changed my life..but i did have a great moment on here. When I was 12 I read and fell in love with a book..read it probably 20 times over a year or so...and now that my girls are grown I really wanted to read them the same book. I spent quite a bit of time trying to track it down by googling bits and pieces that i remembered but no such luck. I finally got the idea to post it as a question on here and within 5 minutes i had my answer...it brought tears to my eyes to finally have this book to read to my girls... I have read it once...getting ready to read it again...so it was a pretty profound YA experience.

OMG! I freakin love Yahoo answers if i have an embarrassing question or a stupid one you can ask on here and not to mention how great it is to waste time reading other peoples stupid questions haha... I LOOOOVE IT! It has changed my life for the better.
