It's the exact opposite, I love the Christmas season, but I get the feeling from so many people that Christmas is too huge and commercial and worthy of nothing but the deepest cynicism. I don't want to be made to feel bad about it, even if it IS a ridiculous commercial festival, made a big deal mostly for the benefit of small children. Why is there so much loathing for what should be one time of year when people are in a good mood for no real reason?

No you are into the holiday spirit and that is good. Doesn't matter what other people think - they have unmet needs! I personally love the Christmas spirit that is all around us right now. It is only commercialized if you make it that way so stay out of the stores as there is a lot of negative energy in the stores with people not at their best.

Unfortunately, as an adult, many people tend to concentrate on the negatives in life, rather than the positives and the Christmas season is no different for many people. These people need to get in touch with their inner child once more and remember how magical the season can be.

I love Christmas. Even at work we've did some extra cleaning and put up a 4' tree. Lots of decorations sitting around and a big basket of peppermint candy for all to share.

I love Christmas too, and its not about getting gifts. its about being together with my family and having a great time and celebrating the birth of Christ! Christmas isnt about TOYS and buying stuff for others, its about being together with family and friends and spreading your love to as many people as possible. Who cares about the comercial parts anyways? its happiness that is most important!
