My friend thought that she was havign two girls! She was SO sure. But she went to the doctor today and found out it was a girl and a BOY! She still wants me to help name them though and she like the name Nadia for the girl. I thought it would be cute to do Aidan for the boy...but would it be OK if it was spelt that way? It's Nadia backwards. I thought it would be a cute twin touch without being TOO obvious...

I didn't notice the spelling until you pointed it out.
It is not obvious.
I love it

Aidan & Nadia, styles are pretty different. Also Aidan is so popular, #1 if you look at combined spellings (http://sio.midco.net/namestats/Boys2006.htm) Where Nadia is # 189 on combined spelling list.

I like Nadia with:

Nadia & Roman
Nadia & Sebastian
Nadia & Grant
Nadia & Peter
Nadia & Oliver
Nadia & Calvin
Nadia & Elias
Nadia & Raphael
Nadia & Griffin
Nadia & Reid
Nadia & Jonas
Nadia & Declan
Nadia & Silas
Nadia & Miles
Nadia & Liam
Nadia & Henry
Nadia & Arthur
Nadia & Casimir

Actually that's a VERY cool idea! I like it a lot.
I don't like when twins have cutesy matching or rhyming names, but the naming of Nadia and Aidan is excellent!

You know, considering the other choices I've seen, this isn't awful. I think Aidan is really trendy, but it sounds nice with Nadia.

It's okay. Aidan is a very trendy American name while Nadia is Russian, so they don't really go together in that sense.

What a cute idea! I really like it. As long as you don't mind that Aidan is popular right now. Gosh, what a neat idea! I bet people wouldn't even notice it unless you told them, which is what makes it cool. Obvious twin matchy-matchy names are boring.

Thank you for not considering giving them rhyming names or like Christopher and Christina I hate it when people do that. You are actually giving them different names just using the same letters. I like that idea.

I LOVE that! I was going to suggest that, but I saw in the details paragraph.

you could do the spelling that way.. I personally dont like it just because aiden (however you want to spell it) is WAY too popular right now. there are going to be 5 in every class room for this generation!
