I fully recognize that faith based organizations can play a valuable role in all forms of charity and relief work. But I think it's flat out wrong - and dangerous for Bush to suggest that faith has anything to do with things like the fight against AIDS. Especially given that many of the faith based groups need to focus on abstinence education to receive federal funding.

I don't care how much you pray and worship, the spread of HIV and AIDS will only be prevented by the development of a vaccine and by making protection - mainly in the form of condoms - available to those who are at risk.

I realize Bush is a religious man and he has every right to his beliefs. But I'm sick of hearing him apply his religious agenda to everything he does.

Here we are 20-25 years into the AIDS crisis and what cure do we have? Abstinence. Now if the word faith is offensive to you, tune it out. But one thing we do know. Condoms and medicine have not worked. Again, only one cure. Change your sexual behavior or...abstinence. Prevention is the best way to stomp out STDs. If the faith of a one person changes the life style of another and saves their life, I'm OK with that. To be offended by a mans belief and watch even more people destroy their life is short-sighted.

Besides that, the issue is Federal funding going to faith-based organizations. Separation of Church-State. Not someone praying or promoting abstinence.

Bush is a puppet of the Vatican. The Vatican is the richest entity on the planet. Bush is not religious at all. Just a good show! He knows who is paying him.

Praying will not do, action will do.

For example, educate the young-ins the benefits of NOT having pre-martial sx or the use of condoms. Praying wont do jack.

I've tuned him out - now all I hear is the soothing sound of the ocean whenever he speaks.
