the socializing and parties, employer finally stops being cheap and buys you something or gives you a bonus or christmas money and takes you out to lunch. It's a great time to be with family and enjoy the decorations, but most of all to attend Mass together and wish the baby Jesus happy birthday.

Nothing for me except some great big heating bills. For those fighting In Iraq, it would be simply GREAT if December brought them all home, alive and in one piece. I can dream, can't I? Of the end to the killing and nightmares, that is. Though we are experiencing winter here, it is summer for my friends in Australia. My middle daughter and two granddaughters were born in December. That's about it. I detest all the faux cheer, advertising, religious squabbling, hypocrisy and greed shoved in our faces from Halloween through Christmas, and will be glad to see the new year roll around! Peace to you all.

I think around December when the christmas music starts to play it gives people a warm feeling in their heart. They feel happy and satisfied with life so December makes people remember that feeling.

People are usually in an extremely good mood because the holidays are coming up. They get excited about getting and giving. And the lights are so pretty! And everyone is starting to sled, and ice skate, and make hot chocolate; there's the best food ever! It really is the best month. Um, you totally get out of school for a long time!
