I am a independent woman and I love it. I also think that every single mom is also independent because she has to be a strong woman in order to work, raise and take care of her household.

I was raised around tons of strong, independent women so in my mind it's just common sense. Even in marriage, you never know what will happen to your spouse, they could get sick or worse. And I don't think it's healthy for anyone to define themselves as nothing without a partner.

I think girl are more and more independent these days.
I like girl who are independent. Being independent is good for girls. But I think the girl who are independent prefer to be single.

I think independant women have a realistic level of self worth, outlook on life, set goals and actively pursue them without relying on excuses or others.

I'm one of those independent women..so I say it's a good thing.
Even in marriage..I wouldn't want to depend solely on my husband..I would need to know I could do things for myself too.

Thats great for them, but dont use it and brag. I am an independant woman, i dont need a man to do that for me.....be one and love yourself

What do you mean by independent?
Do you mean strong and resourceful while having a healthy need for others? (not needy or codependent but not extinguishing the need for others) - Very good
Or the "I don't need anyone, I can do it better myself" type? - Bad
