Of course the police knows everything about the killer and the victim caus ethey are one and the same...
This person would never got to trial or jail because he's dead.

The person that committed the crime is in or a part of the police force. Another thought, even though the police know name and address, the judge decides if it goes to trial. Right or wrong?
Or, the evidence was tampered with, destroyed or not collected. I'm thinking of the OJ trial 10 years ago. You have to admit, we learned a lot from that trial.

since suicide is not a crime in all jurisdictions you can not be asking about it, now can you?

The person who died commited suicicide.

He cant go 2 trial coz hes dead and he did it to himself anyways!

It can't be suicide, since suicide is not a crime, though the failed attempt is a crime in some states.
